Do SmartyPants Vitamins contain nuts? What does "free of tree nut allergens" mean?

All SmartyPants products are free from nuts and tree nut allergens.

 

Additionally, all SmartyPants products are manufactured in a facility that is Free From the 9 Major US Allergens (milk, eggs, shellfish, soy, peanuts, wheat, fish allergens, tree nut allergens, sesame). These facilities meet or exceed the FDA allergen food requirements set forth by the regulations and FSMA to contain and manage all allergens in separate and contained rooms with separate equipment, separate controls, etc., which allows us to manufacture our products in an allergen free environment and make the claims that we do.
