Where does your gelatin come from?

Our gelatin is derived from beef (bovine). We use a very small amount of gelatin to micro-encapsulate the fish oil in our core line of SmartyPants gummy multivitamin supplements.

Each of these formulas includes a multivitamin, omega-3 EPA and DHA essential fatty acids (from fish oil) and over 15 premium nutrients to support overall good health - all in one easy serving.*

The inclusion of fish oil necessitates that we encapsulate it in a small amount of gelatin. Unlike many of our competitors who use a gelatin base for their gummy products, we use a pectin base from apple and/or citrus fruit and peel. This gives our gummies a delicious, velvety texture that's melt-in-your-mouth good.
